They are easily litter box trained and can live indoors with cats and dogs.
We have five new piglets that were born 1.25.14, out of Miele (35 lbs, 13" tall) and Gunther (40 lbs, 13" tall). Two females and three males. They are being raised in the house with lots of attention and socialization. Our piglets are handled daily and are also around dogs and a cat. All of our babies are litter box trained. They'll be ready to go to their new homes in 8 weeks, which will be March 22nd. We are taking $200 deposits now to hold the piglet of your choice. Asking $1,000 as pets, $1,500 with breeding rights. We also are expecting a litter out of Nupig in the near future! We are going to offer her piglets at a lower price to people who send in a $200 deposit BEFORE she gives birth. Our normal price is $1,000 pet price with a spay/neuter contract and $1,500 for an intact piglet with breeding rights. The in utero sale price will be $800 as a pet and $1,100 with breeding rights.
Please do your research before purchasing a piglet and understand that they will be roughly 30-40 lbs full grown. In fact, if you overfeed, they could get up to 50 lbs! You can pay more (much more!!) but you will not find a smaller pig. If someone tells you they have 20 lb adult pigs, they are not being honest. Pigs can reproduce at a very young age, so it is possible for the parents of a litter to be under 20 lbs, but they are not done growing. Pigs reach their adult weight at about 3 years of age.
